Sandra Fox is a postdoctoral research fellow at Ben Gurion University. She received her doctorate this past May in History and Hebrew Judaic Studies from New York University. Her research considers the production of Jewish authenticity, the lived experience, and intergenerational tension in Zionist, Yiddishist, and denominational summer camps in the American postwar period. Her broader scholarly interests include American Jewish history, the history of youth and children, and Yiddish Studies. Sandra is also the founder and executive producer of  Vaybertaytsh: A Feminist Podcast in Yiddish, and serves on the editorial board of In geveb: A Journal of Yiddish Studies
